I know, I haven't been around here in FOREVER. Things have just been super busy and are finally starting to slow down just a little bit.
We got moved back to NC, Will is stationed at Camp Lejeune again. It feels nice to be back "home" again. This is where it all began for us so it just feels right.

We live on the back side of base about 1/4 mile from the water. I love the new place! The neighbors are wonderful and the wife seems very helpful. She brought me a binder full of stuff to do around here!
Abigayle loves her new school. I like the teachers. Not so much the school nurse. But that's because she filed a report on us with CPS. Abbie had fallen and somehow managed to hit her hip on the rail of her bed. She is sooo accident prone, just like me.

Well she had a teensy bruise. She told the teacher it hurt, who sent her to the nurse. She told the nurse that she fell and even told her that she laughed about it...no crying. And this woman jumps the gun and files a report. So were still waiting for that to close out. Monday should be the last day of dealing with it. Other than that one issue, I really like the school.
Henry...well...he's Henry!

Not as huge, still running everywhere, climbing, being a boy! He has lost about 10 pounds between running all the time and going through the picky eater phase. He will be going in a couple of weeks to be evaluated for speech delays and autism. It's something that's been in the back of my mind for a while, but it's still hard to actually have a doctor mention it without you saying something first. I think it's hardest on Will..maybe because it's "his boy"

. I dunno. He is a super smart kid, but he has no interaction with others. Not kids, adults, anyone other than us. It's almost as if he just doesn't acknowledge that there is anyone else in the world besides his Mommy, Daddy, and Sissies. In group situations he refuses to play with other kids. Every now and then he will stand and watch them running and laugh at it, but never joins in. Mostly he just does one of two things. He either finds a place to play alone, or he finds some way to make a circle to run around...whether it be running around a table, toys, whatever. If he has a circle, he's a happy boy. He is also into piles. Everything has to be in a pile. Food separated into piles, toys in piles...makes bathtime sort of suck because he gets mad when his toys float instead of staying in a pile. He goes into meltdowns easily in busy situations or when he can't figure out how something works. He knows it works, but always wants to know HOW..it's sort of neat to watch him try to decipher how a toy lights up. But, no matter what, he's my happy boy who loves loves loves his mommy. And that's all he needs to be.
Avaleigh is doing AWESOME! Those of you on FB know that she is a CHUNK! At 6 months old, she only weighs 4 pounds less than Henry! She just outgrew the infant carrier, but I really don't like her in the convertible carseat we have. I think I might try to return it for something different. She just slumps when she falls asleep, which is like everytime she gets in the car. Yesterday I had her in some of Henry's old 12 month blue jeans. It was pretty adorable if I do say so myself.

Her doctor is awesome and did not throw a fit about her not having any shots. For one, I refused to take them to the Naval Hospital in Charleston after they wouldn't see Henry without him having a dose of benedryl intended for an adult. Secondly, with all that's going on with Henry...nope. He was doing great and was ahead of the curve on everything until his 12 month appointment where the idiot gave him the MMR even after I said he wasn't getting that one because of the military still using the ones with thermisol (sp). So I like the doc she has now. She isn't pushing anything on us at all. Today I'm going to try one of those teething things that you put the fruit in. She loves sweet potatoes, but wants to feed herself. That's not working out so well so I am hoping this mesh thing works.
"Us"...well, were doing good. Will leaves in July for training in Cali, sometime after that for more training in Cali, and at the end of the year he will be heading to Afghanistan. For now I'm good with that. Either I just had myself super prepared in knowing that it would happen or it hasn't hit me yet with it being so far away. But for now it doesn't really have me that upset. He wants to go and it's good for his career, so I have to let it be.
OK....way more than enough about us!!! Who has new babies? Who's expecting? You know!! Give me the gossip!
