Guess what I found

A bat!!! I went open the window today and he was hanging on the metal part of the window where the screen goes. My heart just about stopped. Dad walked up like it's no big deal but I could barely speak.

Yikes!The only time I've seen a bat was at my Grandma's house when I was a kid. It was flying around upstairs until one of my cousins let it out through a window. They are ugly!

It's dark now so it's gone. Maria was so scared she was crying before she went to bed. She's just like her momma

We didn't have screens on our apartment windows when I was in college and we got one in our apartment once. You should have seen me and my room mate running around with colanders on our heads so that it wouldn't get tangled in our hair.My cat looked like tigger jumping trying to get at the dumb thing.

We called one of the guys in my class and he came over, took off his baseball cap and trapped it in the cap and threw it out the window. Geesh! Why didn't I think of that.

Sorry you got scared of the bat.We have really cute bats around here.They are called Flying Foxes.........they have cute little dog faces. Sometimes we stand out in the back yard and watch them fly over in the evening. They're always heading in the same direction.

My mom freaks when she sees bats. She wouldn't even go in the bat house at the zoo But I don't know what I would do if one was in my house... I think the neighbor would have to come over and take care of it

Right before we moved our cat Sparky caught one.It was still alive when it bought it on the porch.My husband had to pry the cats mouth open and it wasnt hurt to bad because it flew right away.

I always have wondered what a real bat looks like, aren't they real small???

We see them flying around in the evening but have not seen them close up.

Sounds like your dad has dealt with them before
