Religion Rant not directed towards anyone here! Feel free to skip

Ok this rant was brought on by something I read about The West Memphis Three. I'm not going to get into the story if you want to read it here's the Wikipedia Page for them.

This is about my religion and here is the rant:

YES I am Pagan/Wiccan
YESI have a God and a Goddess
NOI DO NOT worship satan! HELL I don't even belive in him OR hell!
NOI do not sacrifice children, small animals or virgins to my pagan dieties
NOI do not run around my house nude with paint on my face and twigs in my hair
NOI do not force my children to be involved with strange rituals they know nothing about (as a matter of fact my daughter is Christian!)
NOI don't hex ppl who piss me off, If I did I wouldn't have time to do anything else with my life!
YES I DO PRAY!!!!

One of our freedoms in this country is freedom of religion. Because I do not understand your belief system does not in anyway mean that I don't think that you should be able to worship in any way that you please. That being said... I do not in any way see how this article on the crime implicates you as a child sacrificing, naked, satan worshiper. It does mention that one of the boys had shown interest in your religion but from the article, it really was never conclusively proven that these boys even commited the crime. I was just trying to find the source of the offence that you felt.

It was that they teamed up the fact that they were wiccan with the motive that the killings were satanic in nature and that bc they listened to Heavy metal they must be violent. I've read quite a bit on them and watched the Larry King Live interview with the one that is on death row (Damien Echols). The wikipedia article is just were I began reading about the case. And I think that is why it bothered me...it was never conclusively proven that they commited the crime, no physical evidence, no proof (as far as I have heard or read) that these 3 teens knew or where even anywhere near the boys or the crime scene, evidence that could have cleared them (DNA) was "lost" basically the only "evidence" presented was that one of the boys was Wiccan and they liked heavy metal music.

But they've been in prison for 15 yrs Since I'm not REAL into heavy metal I didn't rant about that as I have NO clue of any of it's background. Even 2 of the 3 parents of the victims believe the 3 guys are innocent.

You know what Crystal people are just ignorant. If they knew anything about Wicca they would be singing a different tune!

The hexing thing is just STUPID. When you put a bad spell on someone you get it threefold, back on you is what I've heard Is that true? Because personally I think if it is true it speaks to the peaceful nature of Wiccans!

And I am sorry strange rituals is relative whoever wrote that must think its not strange that they "eat" the body of Christ lol! Every religions when looked at by an outsider will deem rituals as strange, doesn't make it so!

I do not know alot about the wiccan religon, but I had always thought they were a very peaceloving, nature respecting people. In general, I think some ppl just fear what they do not understand.

The word Pagan, just means Godless, in the sense that they don't believe in the Hebrew/Christian God.

I have a problem with the word Pagan, when most people use it because they use it in the wrong context. Like most teens say oh I am Pagan. Then I will say what type? And they will say the religion Pagan and I am like Thats like saying your Christian, and then someone asking you what denomination you are apart of and they just answer you with Christian again.

What I am saying is that people are really confused about the Pagan religions.
