Curious - for the Canadians

You know we are having our election today. But I'm wondering how our election here is portraide there in Canada.
Here it is wall to wall media. I'm curious if it's like that there.
Where you are, do you get any of the American stations? I'm just curious thats all.

Yep here all of our stations are American except for 2. I haven't watched any tv today it has been on cartoons all day but I am sure beyond sure that the election will be all over all night night. Nearly never channel.

Well I have lots of American channels so I do see some stuff, I also LOVE Jon stewart, but most of my info comes from online or the occasional half hour of CNN (I can only stomach so much CNN). I really find politics very interesting and we are effected by these things too so I try to be informed. I will say it is rediculous the hate ads and the amount of time spent talking about Palin's clothing etc. I mean maybe shows like Jon stewart and Colbert are doing so well bc people feel like the reality is even more rediculous

Funny. Here I have the boys watching noggin. They don't need to watch that stuff. However when I woke up, Kevin had turned the channel in our room on to Fox before he left. So I woke up to wall to wall coverage.
I can't wait until this day is over. I want normal tv back. as well as life back to normal. I'm tired of election coverage.

Dh really finds it all annoying, and with our election last month he is ready for it all to be over too
